Started writing and recording demos in 2023, Stranger is the most ambitious and in depth record Lunar Moth has worked on and released. It was decided that it was going to be their best work yet in ever aspect. Songs were cut (more on this in a later 😈), wrote and re-wrote parts, added instrumentation, changed lyrics, and took tracking as seriously as they could. In short, this album is a huge step in a direction that Lunar Moth has wanted to go in since They started.

The album and artwork are about what it’s like to let your guard down and show vulnerability. How painful and beautiful it can be depending on the situation. How alienating it can feel to be yourself without trying to alter yourself to for it. How scary it is to unmask. Hard and soft. Brittle and pulsating. Porcelain and blood.
