Released in 1978, the soundtrack for "Dawn of the Dead" was composed and performed by Goblin for its international release, in collaboration with Dario Argento. The U.S. theatrical cut featured stock cues, most of them from the Music De Wolfe Library. The film, as well as the soundtrack, was entitled "Zombi" in Italy, and "Zombie" in the rest of Europe.
