Winter in America is the 5th studio album by American Jazz vocalist Gil Scott-Heron and keyboardist Brian Jackson released in 1974. Scott-Heron and Jackson produced the album in a stripped-down fashion, relying on traditional African and R&B sounds. The subject matter deals with the African-American community and inner city in the 1970s. This double LP set includes 4 bonus tracks which have never been released on vinyl.
