Dr. Feelgood - Down By The Jetty LP

Before punk had a name, Dr. Feelgood were playing Canvey Island pubs like the building owed them money. Down by the Jetty, their 1975 debut, is stripped to the bone: Wilko Johnson's choppy, pick-free guitar, Lee Brilleaux's snarl, and rhythm and blues played at a speed that made everything around it sound overdressed. The original went out in mono. This two-disc Rocktober 2026 edition presents the stereo mix, exclusive to brick and mortar shops.
