We are always looking to buy used vinyl down here at Eroding Winds. Genres we're most interested in are Jazz, Blues, Prog & Psych, Classic Rock, Punk, Metal, Rap, and Electronic/Experimental. While we're always happy to check out any styles of music, those are the styles that we will pay more for. What we will pay is dictated by individual title, demand, and condition. We do not have a one size fits all price when buying albums. We are most interested in 33s (12 inch records) and selective with 45s (7 inch records). We are not taking 78s at this time. We do buy CDs but are also very selective with those. They must be desirable titles in near mint condition.
Feel free to contact either of our locations to make an appointment to sell your records and in many cases we will be able to appraise them while you wait. If you bring a collection without an appointment there is a chance we can still look through it while you wait, but it depends on how busy we are. For sales of 100 or more LPs we typically still require time to review them and will call you back the following business day. We are also available to do home visits for large collections, but we will require information about the titles and condition (including photos and a potential list) before we will schedule a home visit.
We always offer more for store credit than we do for cash, but we're happy to make cash offers on all collections.

He has worked in every facet of the music industry since 2000, including retail record stores, music distributors, record labels, touring bands, and festival promotion/production.
