2004's Astronaut served as Duran Duran's first studio album since Seven and the Ragged Tiger (1983) to be recorded by the most famous five-member lineup of the band featuring Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, Andy Taylor, John Taylor and Roger Taylor. Nile Rodgers contributed preliminary production work on several tracks. The labor of love debuted at No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart and at No. 17 on the US Billboard 200, with similar top-20 debuts around the world. Lead single, "(Reach Up for The) Sunrise", debuted at No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart, later topping the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart while second single, "What Happens Tomorrow" peaked at No. 11 on the UK chart.
