B.B. King - Indianola Mississippi Seeds (Translucent Blue Vinyl)
Pickup currently unavailable at Appleton Store
This Bill Szymczyk-produced 1970 blues crossover masterpiece was a personal favorite of B.B. King's, and you can easily hear why from the moaning blues opener "Nobody Loves Me But My Mother" to the standouts ""Ask Me No Questions" and "Chains And Things" through to the final notes of "Hummingbird." Named in tribute to King's upbringing near Indianola, Mississippi, the line-up of musicians is second to none here as well with the likes of Carole King, Leon Russell, and Joe Walsh all stopping by. Gatefold colored 180g vinyl LP reissue from Friday Music, mastered by Joe Reagoso.
