We received some REALLY NICE stuff at the shop today. I can't say enough good things about the Madlib "Shades Of Blue" album. In the early 2000s, Madlib was given full access to the Blue Note archives and created an AMAZING remix album. We also have ONE copy of the new Bright Eyes "Fever And Mirrors" LP repress and it sounds terrific. It's also on a "merlot" colored vinyl which seems to be sold out at most places. Regina Spektor, John Prine, Slipknot, Flaming Lips... check out the list below!!!
Wow, what a list we have below. So much good stuff on it. We only have one of the awesome Voivod boxsets to offer our customers so if that is on your wishlist, you may want to come down here and snag it! I'm really happy to see some Mouth Of The Architect in the shop too! Their split with Kenoma is fantastic and I didn't even know any were available anymore. Oh yeah, we also got more Slayer in the shop... "Hell Awaits" and "Show No Mercy." Those albums are pretty good too :)
Awwwwwww yeah!!! We got some great stuff in the shop today. Now that all of the Stranger Things hype is dying down, Kate Bush's "Hounds Of Love" is now back in stock and on the shop floor as I type. Such a great record. Also got two Tyler albums back in stock... "Call Me If You Get Lost" and "Igor". Come on in and get 'em while they're hot!
We're going to be putting a bunch of great used vinyl out on the floor in a little bit and it will all be here for everyone starting at noon tomorrow. There is some really great stuff on the list... Johnny Cash & June Carter, Wilco/Jeff Tweedy, Wye Oak, Rage Against The Machine, Justin Townes Earle, Michigan Rattlers, Slipknot, Teenage Fanclub... seriously. What a great mix of stuff! We hope to see a bunch of you when we open on Sunday!
WE ALSO HAVE ABOUT 100 LPS WE WILL BE PUTTING IN THE NEW ARRIVALS BARGAIN BIN SECTION. ALL LPS IN THAT SECTION ARE $3 OR LESS!
We got a fantastic restock and new arrivals list for all of you. Finally have The Beatles "Abbey Road" back in stock. We got a couple Claypool Lennon Delirium LPs that I was told are great too. We also got a restock of a bunch of Lady Gaga LPs that went out the door quick the last time we had them in the shop. Finally, it's really cool to see an OLD Weeknd release in the store. His "Echoes Of Silence' LP starts with an incredible MJ "Dirty Diana" cover. So good. Come on down!
