The album is already on it's 3rd vinyl pressing. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eNew fans and old fans alike are digging back into the Pelican \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecatalog which has also resulted in additional represses and reissues \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eof their most beloved titles. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWith 3 vinyl represses in just the first year, and multiple legs of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003etouring in the US and Europe to support the record, Pelican has now \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003erepackaged an EP of 4 Flickering Resonance era tracks as a new \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e12\" EP - Ascending. Pelican fans will recognize the last two tracks \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\"Adrift\" and \"Tending the Embers\" which were self released digitally \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ein 2024 and were only available physically on a limited number of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecassette tapes. This 12\" also features a vocal version of Flickering \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eResonance's lead single \"Cascading Crescent\" featuring Geoff \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eRickly of Thursday. This version of the track was previously only \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eavailable on a limited number of 7\"s so this is the first time that it will \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ebe released digitally as well as being made widely available on a \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ephysical format. The EP's title track \"Ascending\" is a track that was \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003erecorded around the same time as Flickering Resonance, but was \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eleft off of the album as it felt more like it's own distinct entity.
